Retreat@home – Winter 2021

Take time to reconnect with yourself through breathwork, mindful movement and relaxation

Allow me and my fellow BWY certified teachers Hollie Harman and Mayuri Tokekar guide you through practices to help you to reflect and reset. Get ready to light your candles, gather your blankets and prepare to feel nourished and nurtured, all in the comfort of your own home and whilst raising money for two wonderful charities.

We look forward to seeing you there xx

All proceeds to:

JohnnysHappyPlace, ‘a weekend café space where we inspire well-being through community and creativity’. This is run by volunteers who offer food, creative outlets such as free art and creative writing workshops, as well as offering free counselling to those of the local community.

Footprints life camp, a charity which gives many individuals with additional needs opportunity to travel, experience and engage in a range of activities enhancing their life skills and wellbeing.

Your teachers

Hollie Harman is a 500 hr BWY qualified teacher who has been practising yoga and meditation for just over 10yrs. She is incredibly passionate about how yoga and meditation have had, and continue to have, such a powerful and positive effect on her own life. Furthermore, it fills her with great joy that she can continue to develop and deepen her own understanding of these teachings, whilst being able to teach, share and connect with many others.

Catherine Rolfe is a 500 hr BWY qualified teacher who has undergone additional trainings, including mindfulness meditation.  She teaches Hatha style classes infused with Buddhist teachings and aims to offer students a holistic experience of Yoga to support wellbeing on and off the mat.

Mayuri Tokekar is a 500 hr BWY qualified teacher who has recently completed additional 65 hr pregnancy and postnatal yoga teacher training. She is committed to teaching yoga beyond asanas offering wellness at a physical, mental and spiritual level.

You will need:

A safe practice space (including wall space), blankets, your mat and any props you have; we also invite you to have candles to hand.

Student health questionnaire

In accordance with BWY best practice, I ask all students to complete a registration form and health questionnaire prior to attending their first session with me.  This ensures I am aware of any particular conditions which may need special attention and/or modifications during your practice.

The current health questionnaire can be completed here.
